LWD...

dress-?? via Winners; belt-H&M; sandals-XXI; watch-gifted; purse-vintage

I recently came across a certain 'fashion news article' which went on about how the LBD is being replaced by the LWD (little white dress)...cue GASP! I don't mean to be overly sassy but that kind of 'news' is just funny to me! I've consciously dressed myself for a while and have had a LWD in my summer wardrobe for just as long. Coincidentally so has my mother, my grandmothers, my aunts, and great aunts, and basically most other women I know. Now either, we're all super-duper fashion intuitive, OR perhaps white dresses are simply a summer staple, that comes back every year (and shouldn't really be regarded as some ground breaking trend). Just saying.
