Firday Finds

This week's Find is actually a gift from my awesome grandma! One summer day as I was 'helping her organize her closet' I stumbled upon this beaut! Of course I wanted to hear all about it!
Back in the day my grandparents' high school friends had a leather goods company, which manifactured top quality purses, luggage (yes, the awesome leather-with-the-buckles kind!) and other accessories. My grandma tells me that, it was 'the place' for bags in Bulgaria at the time, and luckily she got to test out some of the new styles, as gifts from her friends! (Even more lucky is that she's amazing at keeping things in mint condition for years!!!)
As usual my grandma found it hilarious how much I gasped over this purse, just as I do with roughly 95% of things I find in her closet! Naturally, when she told me I could have it, I was ecstatic, to say the least!

The craftsmanship on it is truly remarkable, and its shape and style is somehow timeless. But my favorite feature by far, is that whenever I carry it, I think about my grandma- a woman who has always managed to look her best, even in the hardest of times.
