Style File: Blush Pink

Blush pink emits a type of subdued feminine elegance, that's timeless and carries over every season. In some ways I view it as the classiest, grown-up pink, since it's neither overwhelmingly bright, nor too girly. With that being said, bows, sparkles and gold tend to be blush pink's best friends, so it's definitely not dull (you just can't be if you're hanging out with that crowd!).
Whether it be through home accents, a vintage piece like the beautiful chair I spotted at an antique market, or fashion accessories, go ahead and indulge in the pink hue that's just ...delightful!

  1. I absolutely love this colour - especially paired with black! Unfortunately, it looks terrible on me and completely washes me out! But these accessories are great!

Where is the headband and bag from?

  2. Omg! I'm so sorry I completely forgot to post the credits! The bags and headband are from Forever21--very affordable!;)
And yes, I get what you mean about washing you out (happens to me too) but with a bit of blush, and maybe just not wearing it too close to my face, it tends to work!

  4. Hi Anjela!

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for featuring ModCloth on your site. I am IN LOVE with blush pink, and I'm currently on a mission to overdose my closet with it. It often washes me out too, so I appreciate your tip; I'll definitely try that!
