a transformation: spruced up heels
Here's another pair of vintage Nina shoes I got to re-design! Before the transformation they were all white, satin, bridal shoes. These were a lot of fun to re-design because there was a lot more room to work with due to the style of the shoe, compared to the sandal types. Also their fabrication meant they were dyeable, and I could sew through the material (although it did hurt a bit, as there were several layers to go through....but it was worth it!). The top embellishments are a mixture of beads, pearls, and leaf inspired beaded appliques (courtesy of my grandma's box of 'sewing stuff').
