Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! I certainly did ;) Good times with family and friends, great food, beautiful gifts, and of course all the preparations that go along with the holiday. One of my personal favorite, aside from wrapping which I can't get enough of ;), is making my grandma's Christmas cookies!
It's one of those awesome traditions you never forget! When my cousins and I were younger, we'd all get dropped of at our grandparents on the 22/23 December, and spend the entire day baking and decorating, always trying to improve our 'technique' (this is pretty serious stuff after all!) and hoping to get ours looking as good as our grandma's.
(Meanwhile our grandpa would catiously enter the kitchen in 1 hour intervals to 'check on us' and gasp and wonder 'how we find such tedious work fun?')
Over the past couple of years, my mom and I have continued the tradition at home. And this year, I thought I'd share a few shots of the final product! ;)
I know you're wondering so...yep, they tasted awesome!;) (notice the past tense used...it was hard to stop at one, or at three...)
