In case anyone was wondering why I didn't make the regular weekday posts last week, I'll clarify: seeing as I finished a few exams, and handed in some papers, I felt like I had deserved a much sought for break from...everything, lol! I still very much enjoy blogging, but this past week was mostly about doing things spontaneously, with no real schedule in mind! And it was pretty great, I have to admit!
I spent some time decorating (will post pictures soon!); holiday gift...browsing (so far with little luck, and it almost seems like I'm in no rush, although there's only about two weeks till Christmas..); spent time with friends (much needed catching up time!); and I made some holiday cards, which is what this post is all about!
Not to brag or anything, but I was pretty happy with the turn out! Minor flaw...the glossy card-stock didn't absorb the block printing ink as I had hoped it would, so unfortunately the ink started flaking about a day after I had made them.
Guess I'll just have to re-do them on regular card-stock (which is an inconvenience, but really no biggie considering how much I loooove making cards!)
Thoughts? (suggestions on how make the ink work on glossy card-stock???)
