DIY-caftan top

caftan top-handmade; tank-H&M; shorts-Joe Fresh; belt-vintage (via cute old lady's garage sale); necklace-XXI; sandals-Pat Calvin

On my most recent trip to H&M I noticed lots and lots of floral and butterfly patterned tops, shorts, dresses, you name it. I sort of loved the patterns but wasn't totally into the styles so I left empty handed (which happens rarely enough for it to be worth noting). Then, a couple of days ago, I browsed through my stash of fabrics and re-discovered this pretty chiffon that I just needed to do something with! Light bulb moment kicked in a few minutes later when I remembered a fun and easy tutorial I wanted to try out by Jessie from the Concrete Catwalk. She made this effortless, flowy caftan top, that's just perfect for summer (especially if you can get your hands on some nice silk chiffon!)

Go ahead and check it out; it's easy-peasy so I'm sure you'll want one for yourself!( I've made 2 so far...it's hard to stop)

Have an awesome weekend :) (and share your exciting plans in the comments below ;))
