Beyond glad with every purchase we managed to squeeze in (both financially aaaand physically given our teeny suitcase) while visiting breathtaking Istanbul. This gorgeous bamboo peshtamal (traditional Turkish towel that's both super soft and fast drying) was not only too pretty to pass up but in hindsight actually makes for a very smart buy (don't I love to justify shopping from time to time...). Truthfully though, peshtamals are awesome because of their versatility (they make excellent throws...unlike regular towels!) plus, a pashtamal is a great travel companion since it's far thinner yet as absorbent as regular towels.
