bruise easily

Studying can put a strain on your overall health, through stress, not eating properly, lack of sleep, etc., etc. But, I bet you didn't expect it could actually bruise you! ( I definitely didn't)
Over the past few weeks I've been to a lot of study groups, and on most occasions I just threw on a pair of jeans and did a lot of sitting. Turns out, because of the low-rise/wearing a leather belt + sitting for hours, I actually managed to get bruised on both my hip bones! It's the randomest thing, and I realize it's probably not very common, but I assure you, it's just another strain of studying for finals, so watch out! ( it could happen to anyone...who wears low rise pants with belts, that is!)
That being said, I opted for my favorite wool shorts and tights combo in this outfit, as to give my hip bone bruises some time to heal.

shirt- Jacob
tights-Joe Fresh
boots- Franco Sarto
necklace-Forever 21

p.s.- now I have "I bruise easily" stuck in my head...

  1. That's crazy! I bruise myself all kinds of stupid ways, I wonder if that's been the cause and I never knew it before. Hmm. I hope you make it through with no more physical trauma! (At least the healing outfit looks cute.)

  2. All the better to study in pj's then, no? Love the way you adorned the shirt collar with a pretty piece!

  3. This has happened to me! I'm glad I'm not the only one, haha. I also have a pretty purple-for-Easter bruise on my elbow... from my computer. School is just too dangerous for us. :)

Also, those boots are super cute! Especially with the shorts.

  4. Just found your blog via the style bloggers map, so glad that I did!

Just moved up to the GTA in January from Florida... and miss connecting with bloggers in my area!

Do you twitter? I would love to connect with you there too!

  5. Beautiful necklace! Love how you have mixed it with the shirt! Amazing look! :) You look so good!

  6. Thanks everyone! such awesome comments :)
