I've wanted a cape for a while now, and had nearly settled on just making one myself, but due to lack of time I had to postpone that. Little did I suspect, someone else had the same idea and made this pretty number, which I graciously snatched at a local thrift store for a whooping $4.99! When I brought it my dad's place, he looked at me and said 'oh, you've got a poncho, cool' or course I corrected him; it's not a poncho if it has an opening (common knowledge-stuff about clothing escapes my otherwise brilliant father).

I love when you find things other people made so you don't have to! I have a capelet that I have yet to wear, but I really want to. I just never go places that it seems appropriate.
ReplyDeleteHaha my dad would have no idea about the difference either! At least he liked it though! I love that it was only $4.99... aaand looks amazing!
ReplyDeletep.s thank you so much for tagging me, I'm SO SORRY this is so delayed (it's just been one of those weeks!) xx
Thanks so much for the 10 things tag. Hopefully I can get around to it soon. Hope you had a great Easter.
